Xionic Madness 4 Info/Let's make a collab :D

¡Qué pedo!

Just happened to come across the site ;D (I'm at work so shhh...) and decided to let you know that XM4 is already in progress (it's still in diapers, but still), the script is completely done and soon (ish...) I will create a post/thread/wathever for Voice roles. This time around there will be more characters to choose from (secondary ones, the main ones are the same) and all spots, save for Kary, will be open, so if you want to try for any of them feel free to do so, the characters' previous VA's also are welcomed to send in auditions if they want to try out for voicing them again.

On a side note, I also wanna make a not-so-time-consuming project, so, anyone has an idea to start a collab :D?

Hmmmm, I'm not quite up there in making flash movies, but is it really a good idea to open up voicing auditions for XM4? Personally, I had no problem with the ancient voice actors. It didn't have to fit "our" idea of the characters. Besides, I still find they were authentic with the voices they had. Thing is, changing the voices of the characters mid-series can lead to jokes, but also throw off the characters' personalities if the change is too drastic. 'Nyhow, your choice! You're a master at what you do, so keep going!

Well, yes and no. I agree with the point that changing them in middle of the series can be a bit disorienting (one of the pointlines will be to make the lines sound similar to the previous voices style). My main reason for changing them isn't that people didn't like them (Hell, I liked them so I can careless) but some external issues.

How about a collaboration where each member makes their own unique character that has a certain set of abilities? Each member of the collaboration could animate their own piece displaying their character's powers. And the challenge would be to use the Madness character template and fit everything on there, so there would be no sudden weapons or such appearing out of thin air.

I like the idea of having one storyline told by multiple authors. For instance, lets say you have a script that calls for six scenes. Each animator could do one of the six scenes. Sort of like the movie "Four Rooms". All you need is a "constant" of some sort. Like a character that's involved in each scene, but each scene is different in its own unique way. Not sure if you'd find that too time consuming, but I'd be more than willing to participate if you decided something like that. Let me know what you think.

If you don't want it to be madness related, then you have to tell us what you want it to be related to. All you've ever done is madness related stuff. We don't know what else you want to/can do.
