Bring back the Legendary: Green Dragon Cresent Blade!! It conforms to your asian style whilst enabling a sense of sublimity from ancient battles. Now, this isn't some sort of Anime Sword, this is an actual weapon from REAL LIFE mythology (I just wanted to make that clear).

A guandao would give your animation a uniqueness found now where else and a combat style of rarity. I know what you are thinking, "I have no effing clue how guandao combat is performed", but just use your imagination and any effort in research I can garentee would be well spent.

That hairstyle reminded me too much of Sasuke from the Naruto-series. Which I hate. Change that hairstyle immediately.
As for new weapons, I got a pretty wicked idea: Xero would then have 2 thin but highly elastic ropes, and in the end of each rope, they would be tied to 2 sharp swords, giving Xero a distanced ability, while still using sharp stuff.

Ok, my suggetions are (even though you won't notice...) The scarf makes him BY FAR the most badass character in this series. He should have BIGGER or LONG swords, I mean cmon, the loop where he blocks bullets is kinda repettitive, and gunswords are AWESOME. Oh, and don't forget relic swords (fire sword, Dragon sword copy, WTF, ETC.)

well since he is now able to use guns use a sweet gunblade and and tht crimson scarf is what kane wears from soul reaver i think

as for weapon ideas... hmm... im leaning toward a fairly large sword (something close to red hill, but smaller) that has a switch or something that allows xero to.. burn... something in the sword that lets the blade ignite.
